Update: BT Redcare ensures service continuity
BT Redcare has announced a partnership with AddSecure, a European provider of secure IoT connectivity, end-to-end solutions and alarm signalling, to maintain its ‘Next Generation’ fire and security alarm services in the UK. This new partnership with BT Redcare ensures that current BT Redcare customers will continue to receive service and support.
BT announced earlier this year the closure of its Redcare operations in August 2025 as part of a strategic decision to focus on its core products and services.
The partnership between BT Redcare and AddSecure aims to ensure the continuity of its service. AddSecure will manage customer relationships with alarm receiving centres currently using BT Redcare’s services. This partnership with ensure a smooth transition for BT Redcare customers, with no interruption to their service.
AddSecure brings extensive experience in alarm signalling and will offer All-IP based solutions that connect via fibre and 4G mobile networks.
